Future Cell Phones
Future Cell Phones of the Future Generation
Cell phones have now taken on the role of all sorts of devices within just one small package alone. Presently, we can use cell phones to make and receive calls, video calls, for text messages, and email. We can also use them to browse the Internet as well as to mark down locations because some of these latest cell phones models now have GPS receivers built inside them. So what else do future cell phones have to offer the future digitech generation?
Entertainment
Cell phones today are capable of storing and playing music as well as videos. Future cell phones are about to take that standard to a whole new level by allowing streaming music and streaming television. Although Japan has already taken that leap forward with their 3G technology, future cell phones are expected to take a 4th generation step which means that possible television streams on future cell phones will be faster and be storable.
Form Factor
Future cell phones will probably look a lot more different than the ones we have now. There is talk of future cell phones taking on different forms depending on what activity is taking place, whether it is a call or Internet browsing. One company is promising one of its future cell phones to have a liquid battery, a flexible touch screen and a touch-sensitive cover. The physical form of future cell phones will bend into different shapes according to what task it is assigned.
Connection standards
Future cell phones are expected to have even more connectivity options. At present, people are able to access the Internet through WIFI. Future cell phones are expected to take that experience to a seamless Internet experience via a technology known as IMS (IP Multimedia Subsystem). Developers hope that this will allow any type of data to move between mobile phone networks.
